Ep. 96 Career Pivot - From French teacher to PM in gaming
跨越职场边界：凯文与小花北美视角
In this week’s episode, we’re joined by a very special guest — Landry, who was once my French teacher, but now works in managing game development at a global gaming company. His journey is anything but linear, and that’s exactly what makes it so inspiring.
Landry shared how his background in teaching not only opened doors for him to live and work around the world but also laid the foundation for a bold career pivot — first into visual effects, and eventually into gaming. We talked about what it was like to start over in a new industry, the transferable skills he brought with him from the classroom, and how he navigated self-doubt and steep learning curves along the way.
Landry's story will offer practical insight and emotional reassurance if you’ve ever considered making a big career change — especially one that feels like a leap into the unknown. Tune in for a conversation about reinvention, resilience, and the unexpected ways our past experiences can shape our future paths.
