Since we produce a certain product for profit, the selling price is bound to be higher than the cost. Secondly, we need to consider who the consumer is. It means that we need to think about the consumer positioning in advance. For example, different people in different age groups can accept different price levels.Frank: I quite agree with you. Besides what you mentioned, competitor's entering cannot be ignored. A buyer's decision may depends on competitor's price and a lower price may be effective to discourage the competitors to enter the market very quickly.Sarah: Absolutely.
