Obesity in China has become a significant issue in recent years, prompting the government to take action. The National Health Commission has announced a major new initiative aimed at encouraging citizens to adopt healthier lifestyles. This initiative will establish multidisciplinary “weight management clinics” at hospitals throughout China, designed to assist patients in safely losing excess weight.
