Rip Reeves, CFA, Rip Reeves is CEO of Institutional Investor, with oversight of its global events platform, journalism, thought leadership and fintech businesses. In 2022, he retired as Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer of AEGIS Insurance Services after 11 years of service. In the preceding 26+ years, Rip’s professional experience encompassed portfolio management, global asset allocation, treasury, investment banking, sales/trading, and large team management.
Ren Jianchang, CFA, holds a master’s degree in International Finance from the PBC School of Finance at Tsinghua University (formerly the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China). He serves as Chairman of CFA Society Beijing and Chief Investment Officer and Head of Investment Management at Taikang Pension. Since joining Taikang in 2002, he has been extensively involved in various areas of insurance asset management, including equity quantitative investment, fixed income investment, infrastructure investment, asset-liability management, and product management. He possesses extensive hands-on investment expertise and team management experience, particularly in quantitative factor investing and index passive investing. Prior to Taikang, he worked at the National Development and Reform Commission and McKinsey China (Beijing Office).
