周末看了一部很平实，却让我特别感动的剧情片，改编自同名小说的The leisure seeker, 中文译名是《爱在记忆消失前》。 Leisure是闲暇时间的意思，the leisure seeker是一对身患重症、逃离家庭去旅游的老夫妻给他们开的房车起的名字。 男主人公John患有阿兹海默症，记忆越来越差，甚至连自己孩子的名字都记不起来，但作为一个海明威的死忠粉，却一直记得海明威书里的句子。 女主角是他的妻子Ella，是一名英语文学教授，癌症晚期，却一直希望能实现丈夫的梦想，到海明威的故乡去。 But they enjoy the journey very much. Now it’s the time to take risk. (You don’t have kids, your obligations..oh sorry, probably not, of course..) But As you get older, your obligations increase. And once you have a family, you start taking not just for yourself, but for your family as well. It gets much harder to do things that might not work out.
