生日快乐，愿更爱自己：My Understanding of Self-love

This is a birthday girl making a wish.

I feel like the best gift we can give ourselves is not some fancy stuff or constant pampering and positive thinking, but self-education. 

Educate ourselves about the outside world, so that we both feel a closer connection with the world and make on-point comments on things happening;

Educate ourselves about our inner world, so that we understand our needs, wants, and emotions as a human being, thereby being the best friends of our own;

Educate ourselves about people, especially the communication with them, so that we can identify who is bullsh*ting and who is worth learning from.
