1. brief
动词：给某人简要介绍/布置任务
名词：一页纸的简报/概要，briefing：简报会
用法：
动词：brief someone on something
I need to brief the team on the new client requirements.
我需要向团队简要介绍新客户的要求。
名词：send/receive a brief
Did you read the project brief I sent?
你看过我发的项目简报了吗？
名词：morning briefing / press briefing
早间简报会/新闻简报会
The morning briefing starts at 9 am.
早间简报会9点开始。
拓展：
相近表达：summarize（总结）、fill someone in（告知情况）、walk someone through（带某人过一遍）
2. align
使各方对齐/达成一致，确保信息同步
用法：
align on something：就某事对齐
We need to align on the Q4 goals.
我们需要在第四季度目标上对齐。
align with someone：与某人保持一致
I'll align with HR on the new policy.
我会就新政策与HR保持一致。
get aligned：完成对齐
Let's get aligned before the client meeting.
在见客户前我们先对齐一下。
拓展：

3. touch base
简短地联系/碰一下，通常用于更新进度或确认情况。
用法：
touch base with someone：和某人碰一下

touch base on something：就某事碰一下
Let's touch base on the marketing campaign.
我们就营销活动碰一下。
拓展：
与正式会议的区别：简短、非正式、无议程、用于同步更新

4. circle back
回头再讨论/回复（通常因为现在无法回答或时间不够）
用法：
circle back on something：回头聊某事
Let's circle back on the pricing next week.
我们下周再回头讨论定价问题。
circle back to someone：回头联系某人
I'll circle back to you once I have the data.
我一有数据就回头联系你。
拓展：
避免当场说“I don’t know”，显得更专业、更有掌控感
相近表达：revisit（再次讨论）、follow up（跟进）、get back to（回复）
5. loop in / keep someone in the loop
loop someone in：把某人拉进讨论/项目（如加进邮件、群聊）
keep someone in the loop：持续让某人了解最新进展
用法：
Let me loop in Sarah from Legal on this thread.
我把法务部的Sarah拉进这个邮件链。
Please keep me in the loop on any changes.
有任何变化请随时告知我。
拓展：
两个表达的区别：loop in = 一次性的“拉入”动作；keep in the loop = 持续的“保持知情”

有进展随时告诉我（让对方及时获悉最新情况）
用法：

7. bandwidth
原意是网络带宽，职场中指“时间、精力、处理能力”
用法：
I don't have the bandwidth to take on another project right now.
我现在没有精力再接新项目了。
拓展：
口语化替代：I have a lot on my plate.（我盘子里菜太多了=我很忙）
发邮件用bandwidth，闲聊用a lot on my plate
8. own / owner / ownership
own（动词）：对某事负责到底
owner（名词）：负责人
ownership（名词）：主人翁意识/责任感
用法：
own something：负责某事
I'll own the client communication.
我来负责客户沟通。
own the outcome：对结果负责
You own the outcome, good or bad.
不管好坏，你都要对结果负责。
Who's the owner of this task？
这活儿谁负责？
take ownership：拿出主人翁意识
Take ownership of the problem.
把这个问题当自己的事来干。
拓展：
owner = 最后被追责的人；ownership = 思维方式
你可以不是owner，但可以有ownership；反之亦然
pass the buck：推卸责任
9. apples to apples & apples to oranges
apples to apples：用同样的标准进行公平比较
apples to oranges：不可比较的事物
用法：
Are you comparing apples to apples？
你的比较维度一致吗？用的是同样的标准吗？
Comparing a startup with a 50-year-old corporation is apples to oranges.
拿创业公司和50年老牌企业比，没有可比性。
拓展：
确保比较时用 same metrics（同样指标）、same scope（同样规模）、same conditions（同样条件）
10. low-hanging fruit & quick wins
low-hanging fruit： 难度低、容易完成的任务
quick wins：能快速看到成果的事情
用法：
Fixing the login page is a low-hanging fruit.
修复登录页面是个很容易做的事。
Pick the low-hanging fruit first to get some quick wins.
先摘低垂的果子，快速拿到成果。
拓展：
区别：low-hanging fruit强调“容易”，quick wins强调“见效快”
两者可以结合：先做容易的，快速拿结果
