As the global tech landscape reshapes, Europe is emerging as a critical strategic frontier for Chinese tech expansion. But this $18-trillion market, home to half a billion high-purchasing-power consumers, is far from a simple replica of other regions. In this episode, Swedish serial entrepreneur Benjamin dismantles the illusions of entering the European tech ecosystem. We dive deep into the unwritten rules of European business: navigating data sovereignty baselines, cracking the 18-month B2B procurement cycle, and understanding the cultural shift towards Socratic debate in boardrooms. From fundamentals-driven venture capital to the untapped €500 consumer robotics market for DINK households, this is a battle-tested playbook for Chinese AI and hardware founders ready to move beyond the "growth-at-all-costs" mindset and build long-term, high-trust partnerships in Europe.
