Before the race begins, people usually hold a solemn eye-dotting ceremony for the dragon boat, which means to wish for safety, good luck and unstoppable success

After the ceremony, the dragon boat team members get into position in an orderly manner

As the drums start to beat, they vigorously puddle with their oars and the dragon boat speeds towards the finish line like an arrow leaving a bow
