Hi Matt! I was wondering—are you from the Midwest? Your accent is so clear and easy to follow. In my (probably stereotyped) mind, the Midwestern accent is kind of the default American accent, and yours really fits that impression.😃(Please excuse any grammar mistakes—I’m still working on it)

Thank you for your kind words. I am from Tennessee but since I’ve lived overseas for so long, my regional accent has disappeared and now I just speak “standard” Chinese.
