之前我们曾经在节目中学过一个表达，叫做put oneself out
表示你自己不怕麻烦，不辞辛苦，去帮助别人
to make an effort to do something to help someone, even if it is not convenient:
eg: Ethan is always willing to put himself out for other people.
Ethan总是特别热心肠，不怕麻烦去帮助别人。

所以put sb. out也有这个意思。
1. 麻烦某个人；给某个人带来麻烦；
to cause sb. trouble, extra work, etc.:
eg: I hope our arriving late didn&`&t put them out.
