🌈What is the difference between "grip" and "grasp"?
Literal meaning:
📕grip(used as both a noun and a verb)
It has a similar meaning to hold firmly.
Ex: The team driver gripped the steering wheel tightly.(another way to say grab it tightly.)
👏👏👏You are literally nervous or stressed out when you grip sth really hard.
Ex: She has a strong of grip.(it's used as a noun.)
grasp(it's only used as a verb with two meaning of" to grab" and "to hold")
Ex: I tried to grasp the bar but failed.
👏👏👏"grab" very is interchangeable with "grasp"

Grip is used to talk about the control something has over someone or something.
Grasp is all about understanding.
Ex: That memory has gripped on you.(sth u can't get out of your head)
Ex: Her failure has aa strong grip on her.(has a strong control over her.)
