今天我们要学习的表达叫做：
go around，在英式英语中也经常用go round来表达。
这个短语的意思在口语中比较多；
1. 在今天视频中，这个go around是什么意思呢？
If a piece of news or a joke is going around, it is being told by many people in the same period of time.
如果用这个短语来描述一条消息、一个玩笑，指的是在同一时间内，这个消息/玩笑被很多人说起、传播，扩散开来；

eg: There's a nasty sort of rumour going around about it.
关于这件事，目前正有一则恶意的谣言在传播。

2. 这个短语还有什么样的意思呢？
比如说：“绕路”；
to bypass something by taking an indirect path
eg: Go around to the back if the front door is locked.
如果前门被锁上了，就绕到后面去。

3. 再比如说：还可以表达：“旋转”；
to revolve (around something)
eg: The Earth goes round the Sun, which gives us our seasons.
地球绕着太阳转，我们才有了四季。

4. 再比如说，看看这个意思：“能够被一群人分享”
to be able to be shared among a group of people
eg: I don't want to take more green beans if there isn't enough to go around.
如果四季豆不够给大家分的话，我就不多要了。

eg: Are there enough pencils to go round?
铅笔够给大家分吗？

5. 今天节目中再讲一个它的意思，它还可以用来表示：“去某个人家里拜访ta，做客”；
to visit someone in their home
eg: I'll go round later and see how he is.
