Anna Walker是来自澳大利亚的童书插画家与作家，她出版了多部童书作品，包括《Florette》、 《Mr Huff》、《Tilly》，其中《Florette》在2018年被纽约时报评选为当年十大最佳插画书之一。Anna擅长结合多种媒介创作，她为她的图书手工布置过橱窗，甚至亲自拍摄了定格动画。在这期访谈中，Anna与我们聊了她为何如此热爱手工艺，并分享了她在家中是如何培养三个孩子的创造力的。 Anna Walker is an award winning children's book illustrator and author based in Melbourne, Australia. She creates illustrations with a wide variety of mediums, such as watercolour, pencil and collage. Her book Florette was chosen by the New York Times as one of the top 10 best illustrated books of 2018. Mr Huff, won the 2016 CBCA Book of the Year for Early Childhood and was shortlisted in the 2016 Prime Minister’s Literary Awards. In this episode, Anna talked about her love for handcrafted work, how her childhood experience influences her creative work, and the story behind Florette. She also shared with us how she cultivated creativity in her children. Oge grew up in Columbus, Ohio but resides in Providence, RI. She is a fan of all things colorful, patterned, or collaged, and enjoys creating warm stories that celebrate people coming together. Her debut picture book, Thank You, Omu!, which grew out of a class assignment when she was stuyding in Rhode Island School of Design, won the 2019 Caldecott Honor, Coretta Scott King John Steptoe Award, and Ezra Jack Keats Book Award. Her second book, Saturday won the 2020 Boston Globe—Horn Book Picture Book Award. Oge’s artwork has been applauded by The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Boston Globe. She also recently made the Forbes 30 Under 30 2021 list in Arts & Style.

He has written twenty-five books, mostly for children, and also books for adults. Graduated from Yale, where he majored in History, he joked that he was a "bad student" since he didn't spend much time on his studies, but he did spend a lot of time reading. And he loved going listen professor Jonathan Spence's Classes about Chinese history. It's the way of storytelling that influenced him a lot.
