本期播客，我们专访了艺术家Marion Deuchars！出生在苏格兰的Marion现定居于英国伦敦，最早被人熟知的是她别具一格的手写字体和设计。1981年以优秀毕业生的身份从从皇家艺术学院毕业后，Marion和别人合办了一个艺术设计工作室，设计领域包罗企业文化、出版、编辑、产品包装、网站设计、手工、室内设计等方方面面。Marion也因优秀的设计作品获得了国际艺术指导协会的金、银奖，并四次荣获D&AD铅笔奖。 当Marion成为两个男孩的母亲，开始和他们一起读童书，并不是所有书都令她满意。Marion萌生了一个念头：自己创作适合孩子阅读的书籍。恰好有一个契机，Marion受邀创作一些给孩子们的活动书（activity book），也就是后来我们看到的《Let's Make Some Great Art》系列。 在做活动书的过程中，Marion挑选了其中的几个角色，陆续创作了以艺术家小乌鸦Bob为主角的故事书《Bob the Artist》、《Bob's Blue Period》。2020年，第三本以Bob为主角的绘本《Bob Goes Pop》出版了。 这次访谈，我们从什么是创意聊起，探讨了Marion的新书《Bob Goes Pop》的创作灵感来源以及背后的一些故事，Marion还分享了自己作为两个男孩的母亲是如何给孩子做艺术启蒙的等等内容，希望Marion的作品和分享都能打开大家看世界的视角。 Marion Deuchars publishes beautifully illustrated children's books and has created her own globally recognised style of hand lettering.
