However, there was a forest park just outside the nearest town, with a great viewpoint overlooking the whole city. We'd go there almost every Chinese New Year when we visited my grandparents. At the entrance, there were loads of stalls selling all kinds of tasty snacks. If you hiked all the way to the top, which took roughly an hour, you'd get a panoramic view of the mountain town. Do you still like going to parks now? Certainly. When I'm at home, I often take leisurely walks in local parks whenever I feel the need to move my body. Also, since I'm a nature lover, I always make a point of exploring an area's parks when I'm travelling. For example, last autumn, I hiked through the Narrows at Zion National Park in Utah. Wading through waist-deep, sometimes even chest-deep water for hours was an unforgettable experience. Would you like to see more parks in your city? Without a doubt. I've visited most of the well-known parks in my city, and each one has its own distinct charm. Some offer a natural experience with minimal man-made development, which I really appreciate. Others highlight local culture, featuring beautiful traditional Chinese architecture and cultural displays. Are there any parks you want to go to in the future? Domestically, the top park on my list is Zhangjiajie National Forest Park because of its absolutely breathtaking scenery. The mountains there look like giant pillars reaching the sky, and there are hundreds of them — it's truly spectacular! I plan to spend around three days there as I've heard it's enormous.
