Dr. Clare Zhao, Ph.D. is a U.S. and China licensed psychologist and therapist. Her work deals with the rising rates of anxiety, depression, interpersonal violence, trauma and eating disorders. She has worked at the National Suicide Hotline and has been a counsellor for survivors of sexual trauma. We talk to her about self-identity, anxiety, sexual trauma, the stigma of therapy, body image, the surprising mortality rates of eating disorders and why it's so important to always keep one foot in and one foot out.
