(search for information) I need to look up my flight times. / I need to look up that word in the dictionary. ⭐️blow-dry(blow-dried) It's not a typical phrasal verb where the meaning changes dramatically. It just combines "blow" and "dry" to describe an action, forming a compound.(single/compound verb) ⭐️关于blow的phrasal verb the particle remains unchanged and the main verb is changed to past tense. 1.blow out ①to extinguish a flame ex: .she blew out the candles on her cake . ②a tire to burst .my tire blew out on the highway . 2.blow up ①explosion .The old boiler suddenly blew up last night. ② .She blew up when she heard the news.
