🎯Ways to someone's home
👀What about that new place by yours?
👀eat at mine
(It sound a kinda Australian. It didn't feel like American English. 😂)
📝my/your house/ place instead of "mine" and "yours"
🌼Role play
A: Do u wanna hang out later?
B: Let's go to my house. It's closer.
A: Should we study at school?
B: No, your place is quiter.
A: Where should we watch the movie?
B: Lets watch it at our house. Our living room is so comfy and can fit everyone.
A: Have u been to … 's new apartment?
B: Not yet, but we're going to their place this weekend.

🗓In British English, they might use "possessive pronouns" instead of "my house". It sounds more casual as what it is, actually it's just shorten form.
A: Where are you going to watch the movie later?
B: I'm going to watch it for mine.(mine=my house)
👏👏👏That's not natural for American English.
Ex: We're gonna stop by theirs later. You should come.(theirs= their home)
⚠️⚠️⚠️"His and Hers", it's less common unless the context is really clear. Both people must need to know the person.
👏👏👏"possessive pronouns" is used after preparations. "by/at/from/ to"
Ex: We were hanging out near yours.
Ex: I'm heading to mine now. I'll call you when I get home.
🗓In American English, people don't usually "possessive pronouns" by themselves, but they're some acceptions.
👏👏👏when the "word" just mentioned.
Ex: Should we go to my house or yours?(cut off at second "house")
🌼Role play
A: Where should we have the birthday party? mine or yours?
B: I was thinking your place. It's bigger, right?
A: Yeah, my place has a better parking.
B: True! Abery also offers to host. Her place is huge, but really out of the eay.
A: That's a good point. Let's stick to mine. It's more convenient.
B: That sounds good. Should we get the cake delivered directly to your house then?
A: That makes sense. But please come over to mine early to set up. I could use the help.
B: Of course, just let me know the time and I'll be there!
