More likely Vs Most likely
year book(毕业纪念册)
1. Most likely(something very possible. There's a very good chance)
Ex: She will most likely call you in the afternoon, but it's possible it will be tomorrow morning.
2. More likely(it has to be in comparison to something else)
Ex: Shelly is more likely than Bob to know the answer to this question.
Tips: Shelly is most likely to know this question.(if there 5 people in this group)
Ex: It will most likely be too expensive to hold an even there, so let's set up some other options just in case.
Ex: I more likely to spens more my money on clothes for myself.
Tips: "'More likely" is used in a comparative way. It can be used it by itself, but u have to imagine the comparing context.
Ex: Who in your relationship is more likely to leave the dirty clothes on the floor?
Ex: Who in your family most likely to miss a flight?

AEE 2290: More Likely Versus Most Likely in English
year book, 毕业册 at the end of the school year collection of pictures from the whole year, put everybody's photo there .
1. most likely means something is very possible, very good chance, usually highlighting one key thing . just be by itself没有相对比的另一方,或者是多者中最有可能的那一个
eg, she would most likely call you in the afternoon but it's possible it would be tomorrow morning.
are you going to this part ? most likely.
it would most likely be too expensive to hold the event there, so let's set up some other options just in case.
2. more likely, it has to be a comparison to something else . 两者之间的对比
eg, Shirley is more likely than mom to know the answer to this question. (comparing two things)
if there's five people in the group, we can say Shirley is the most likely to know this question.
I'm more likely to spend my money on clothes for myself.
3. more likely to, we could ask like what
eg, who is more likely to clean the house? you or your partner ?
who in your family is most likely miss the flight ?
piecemeal work 零碎的工作
should we get the glue or the tape ? 胶水 胶纸
i think glue is more likely to make a mess, let's go with tape. ( glue is messier/ glue is more likely than tape to make a mess)
sounds good, do you think we should buy an extra set of cups ?
most likely.
