China Launches Universal Childcare Subsidy to Support Families

国家发放育儿补贴：减轻家庭负担，助力生育

Starting January 1, 2025, all children aged 0 to 3 will be eligible for an annual subsidy of 3,600 yuan.

自2025年1月1日起，所有0至3岁婴幼儿每年可获得3600元育儿补贴。

The subsidy applies to first, second, and third children, regardless of birth order.

不论是一孩、二孩还是三孩，均可享受该补贴政策。

Families can apply online or offline in their household registration area; funds will be transferred directly to their accounts.

补贴按户籍地申请，支持线上线下办理，由财政直接发放至家庭账户。

Children born before 2025 but not yet 3 years old are also included.
