16:32 I find it illogical that the US blames other countries for their own choice of national strategy decades ago of retaining high-tech and lucrative sectors, such as investment and financial services, within the US while transferring labor-intensive and polluting industries abroad. Furthermore, their portrayal of themselves as a victim seems disingenuous, considering their large companies reap most of the wealth and benefits. More fundamentally, I feel such tariff war exposes the hypocrisy of the US’s so-called democracy and freedom. They disregard agree-upon rules when those rules don’t serve their interests and force the changes until they get what they want, irrespective of fairness or the welfare of other market players. Isn’t it an action of gangster? Might makes right?
