World Kindness Day is an international holiday celebrated on November 13 every year. It was first introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, an organization established in 1997 in Tokyo, Japan.
On WorldKindness Day, groups and individualsare encouraged to go out of their way to be kind to one another and have some fun with doing so. The holiday is devoted to promoting kindness throughout the world and understanding the positive potential of large and small acts of kindness.
Why does everyone love it? It gives people the perfect opportunity to get creative with their ideas. It also helps remind us that we aren’t alone in our lives. What’s more, it inspires us to believe that we can make a big difference through small acts.
