On October 27, 2025, China’s domestically developed commercial aircraft C909 (model name ARJ21) received an airworthiness certificate from Brunei’s Civil Aviation Authority.

Earlier, Brunei amended its aviation regulations to officially recognize the certification standards of China’s Civil Aviation Administration, providing legal backing for the aircraft’s export.
此前，文莱修订法规，正式认可中国民航局适航标准，为中国产飞机出口提供制度保障。
The certificate covers five models, including passenger and converted cargo aircraft.
此次适航证涵盖客机、客改货等五个机型。
