The bar chart illustrates the sales revenues of Apple between the years 2011 and 2016 at 6-year intervals.
It can be seen that the sales revenues increased from 47 billion US dollars in 2011 to 76.9 billion US dollars in 2012, and then kept increasing steadily at nearly the same rate from the years 2012 to 2014. In 2015, the sales revenues of Apple peaked at 155 billion US dollars, however, from then on, the sales revenues began to fall. The amount of sales revenues of Apple was 136.7 billion US dollars in the year 2016.
Overall, we can see that the year 2015 was a watershed year. Before the year 2015, there was a clear upward trend in Apple's sales revenues. After the year 2015, there was an opposite trend.
