说有个农夫啊，经常说的一句就是 good or bad, hard to say. 

When he lost his horse, and his neighbors came over and said, “Oh, that’s too bad.”

 And the farmer said, "Good or bad, hard to say." 

A few days later, the horse returned and brought with it seven wild horses. 

And neighbors came over to said, "Oh, that's so good!" 

And the farmer just shrugged and said, "Good or bad, hard to say." 

其中一个小例子就是，当农夫丢了马，邻居们都说，哎呀你好倒霉啊。可农夫说，这可说不准。几天以后，这匹马带着七匹野马回来了，邻居们说，呀你太幸运了，农夫还是说，Good or bad, hard to say. 

这简直就是塞翁失马，焉知非福的英文版诠释啊。

By gripping tightly to the story of good or bad, I close down my ability to truly see a situation. I learn more when I loosen my grip and proceed openly with curiosity and wonder. 

当我握紧拳头只看到故事的好或坏时，我其实没办法真正地看清事物原本的样貌。当我松开拳头、带着好奇向前走的时候，我学到了更多。
