When you grow up you tend to get told the world is the way it is. And your life is just to live your life inside the world, try not to bash into the walls too much, try to have a nice family, have fun, save a little money. That's a very limited life. Life can be much broader, once you discover one simple fact and that is everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that people can use.And the minute that you understand that you can poke life like if you push in and something will pop out the other side, that you can change it,you can mold it.That's maybe the most important thing. It's to shake off this erroneous notion that life is there and you are just gonna live in it, versus embrace it ,change it ,improve it,make your mark upon it. Once learn it you will want to change your life and make it better cause it's kind of messed up, in a lot of ways. Once you learn that you will never be the same again.

                                                                                                                          --- Steve Jobs

Hi Ling.A really really really bad night.I survived an anxiety attack. For the start,I just listened some music contents in order to relax.I don't know how I click into your podcast haha 😛.I think it maybe a kind of“缘分”. And it is the first time that I write a English commits and listen an English podcast(Maybe l have many mistakes between writing). Your podcast is attracting and your voice makes me feel good now. Thank you! and look forward to new program👏

I'm a senior too and struggling with my graduation thing, my future. I even got lost a little bit and recently i've confirmed some mental problem like anxiety and panic disorder. you are a bravo. I am a college teacher and the one of most people who is an avoider. I remember when I was about graduated I choose to continue studying for my master degree and then doctor degree as I was afraid of not finding a good job and disappointing my parents. I don't know what I like what can I do,as well. So I did I was supposed to do, get married, have kids…it's boring and there's a lot of regrets,it seems that I have so much things I have not try, so you just can't run away with your problem, now I am exploring what I like and what kind of life I want. It's good for you to face this and explore yourself at such a yung age. I am learning spoken English and I love your voice. This episode makes me think what else can I share with my students and not too hard on them when their schoolwork is bad.

Note: follow my own clock💓 到底是什么定义了“我”? totally agree with your ideas in this episode!
