The early morning I'd like to talkabout was last Friday,one of those rare days where I managed to cram in so much before heading to work.
I woke up naturally at 6 o'clock and as soon as I got out of bed, I hopped into the shower to wake myself up properly. Then I headed to the kitchen to boil a corn and brewed a cup of coffee for breakfast. While the corn was cooking, I did one of my daily morning routines: cleaning the cat litter and refilling my cats' food and water bowls.
Afterbreakfast, I flipped through a couple of pages of the book I've been reading lately. And finally, before leaving the house,I took the garbage out to the bin in the basement floor on my way to work.
What surprised me most was how great I felt afterward. Normally, I'm someone who hits the snoozebutton a few times and rushes through the morning, but that day, having a solid night's sleep made me feel well rested and way moreprepared for the workday ahead.
Now I'm trying to stick to that early bedtime and morning routine more often because there's no betterfeeling than starting the day on the right foot.
