各位听友，早上好！首先，很高兴你还在继续收听我的节目。

I had to take a hiatus for more than a week due to some unexpected events.  As many of you know, I currently live in Shanghai. My city is going through the toughest time in a very very long time.  I have never seen anything like this before, and neither have my parents, who also grew up here.

But, as Covid rips though the city and most of us are in lockdown, I have also seen kindness and compassion. We are helping each other when resources are strained. And we know, we will see the end of the tunnel soon.
