1️⃣to pop the kettle on and have a brew
to pop often replace the word "go" and "put"
Ex: I'm just popping to the shops. Do you need anything?(I would be expected to be back within the few minutes. implying the place you go is very near, corner shop.)
Ex: Pop this jacket on.
Ex: I just need to pop this cake into the oven and I can relax.
