Interesting article! I was a teenager in England in the 90s. The ‘secret party’ culture was happening throughout the 90s and I attended a few of them. You normally found out from a friend who knew a friend, who knew a friend. The parties were wild and the younger generation can’t possibly understand just how crazy those nights got, and the expectation of the police coming to shut everything down was always there! Your selection of music at the end of the article *does* reflect a lot of what was happening in the 90s, however most of the records mentioned came from the mid to late 1990s and not from the 1992 period that your article is talking about. I’ve seen a few of the DJs mentioned in the article: DJ Fabio played in my hometown with DJ Grooverider and I’m lucky enough to have seen Orbital play live. Thanks for sharing and helping to bring back some memories from my British youth.
