Eskimos are native people in the Arctic regions of North America and Greenland. They've adapted to the cold climate by building igloos. The igloo is a house made of ice and snow blocks. It helps Eskimos stay warm in the severe cold. Igloos are like cozy ice caves with a round shape and a small tunnel to get inside.
Igloos are surprisingly warm inside even when it's freezing cold outside, because the snow traps the heat inside. Even though they're made of snow, igloos can handle heavy snow and strong winds because of their shape.
Besides, they are easy to build since snow is everywhere. People can make them quickly with simple snow tools, and they're useful for shelter when hunting or during emergencies.
