In this episode, we invited Pavi to talk about the Caste system in India. Many people like ourselves have known about the existence of the caste system for a long time, however, how does it actually determine individuals’ lives? For Indians who have immigrated to the U.S., does the social system from their native country still affect their current perspectives when dating? The change has been required for centuries, and now the new generation is using social media to amplify their voice, we want more people to learn about this.

To help more people understand this topic, we have drawn the parallels between race and caste are for illustrative purposes/audience understanding.  However, please be aware that both these systems hold very unique complexities.
