3ways to say you dislike sth
1️⃣loath(intensely dislike or hate sth)
Ex: I'm loath to swimming in our pool.
Ex: I'm loath to go through to hunt the houses.
Ex: He's always been loath to get up early.
👏👏👏loathe(for here it's a verb)
Ex: I loathe driving in the snowy weather.
Ex: She loathes doing homework.
👏👏👏Don't worry about that they pronounce the same in oral English, but you have to be distinguish them in writing.
2️⃣abhor(even stronger than "loathe", most dislike you can get.)
Ex: I abhor small spaces. I'm definitely claustrophobic.
3️⃣disdain(noun & verb)
noun: This is the feeling that something isn't worthy of considerations or respects
Ex: She looked out of him with disdain.
Ex: She always treated her with disdain.
Verb(It's rare to use its verb)
Ex: I disdain to answer her questions.
👏👏👏We wouldn't use the past tense of abhor, loathe, insteadly we usually use them in present tense, cus they are such strong feelings.
