AEE: How to Get the Hang of Idioms 1. get a feel for sth 开始理解如何做某件事情basically means to begin to understand sth, trying to understand sth, to get familiar with, on the way to learn more. you don't have to know everything, but you starting to get a sense. eg, We just switch our company over to digital record but I'm still getting the feel for the system. I think i like my new job, but I'm still getting a feel for everything. I'm trying to get a feel for how handly works, do you have any inside? 2. to feel sth out 感受 提取信息 eg, I want to feel out how much Shirley is open to learning for new project. 3. get a sense of ( not getting the exact answer, but getting around the answer ) eg, I want to get a sense of how our clients feel about the changes we have been making. 4. get the hang of 得知……的窍门；熟悉某物的用法；理解某事，摸清概况；鉴赏 learning how to do sth eg, Let's get the hang of the new software before we move on.
