ya know 发音= you know
sassy 粗鲁的,无理的
are we on the same page ?我们的想法一致吗?
1. might alert someone to pay attention, maybe the attitude , sharing sth that you bring about the important point seeing if others agrees .
eg, i love ice cream but it's not a good idea to eat it everyday ,ya know .
if you just saying the broad stament, not addressing someone , don't need to add ya know at the end . when you add ya know it means you are talking to someone .
just giving your opinions about your diet or habits like i love ice cream but i am not sure if it's ok to eat it everyday .
2. looking for approval , agreements , not rules .
3. introducing an idea, a proposal, a thought .
4. rude / sassy or not depend on the tone and context .
